GEAUXASKALICE ANNIVERSARY!

I know I don’t typically post on Fridays but today is a very special day for me. It was four years ago that I posted my first food blog for GEAUXASKALICE. I can remember how excited I was when I had 50 FACEBOOK FOLLOWERS! Then, I saw 100! Even on the GAA website, I am close to 1,000,000 HITS! I am always flabbergasted. Today, I don’t focus so much on the numbers of followers but the quality of people there following me. Trust me, I get some shaky viewers out there but I just ignore that. I cannot begin to tell you how much I appreciate the support for my FOOD BLOG. I look forward to getting up each morning and putting something out there and waiting for your response. You all have made me a better person in the kitchen. My mother always told me, when you do something that pleases others you will feel the joy of that encounter! She was so correct! As I have always said, I AM HERE TO LEARN, JUST LIKE YOU! I truly enjoy when FOODIES give me suggestions or share some of their favorite family recipes and memories! We must all strive to keep those wonderful events of past—ALIVE!
