Good Morning Foodies! My, my, cannot believe today is last day of “HOT AUGUST”! Not really sad to see it go. This has been one LONG, HOT SUMMER! I don’t even think “CATS ON THE HOT TIN ROOF” could bear it. Last week gave us a little tease of the cooler air. I am so ready.
As you can see COLLEGE FOOTBALL starts this week. I AM SO READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL! This week the menus will be some ideas for your gatherings. The EXTREME TEX-MEX PICO DE MORROW SALAD was one that I worked on for a few months. I served it to the MORROW CLAN for EASTER. I let everyone help with the name of the dish. They really liked it. It is one of my favorites. It can be a salad, side or dip. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THAT! These recipes don’t have to be just for watching FOOTBALL, but at my house—FOOTBALL IS ALWAYS AN EXCUSE TO GATHER AND ENJOY GOOD FOOD, FAMILY AND FRIENDS! Even though, sometimes there are guests there pulling for the other team. Gotta watch them closely! Have a great day!
