HUBBY always tries to keep his promise and bring me to NEW ORLEANS during the CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS! There is something so charming about THE BIG EASY! I just love being around all the beautiful decorations. I helps me get into the festive mood! For a few days, I can put out of my mind all the busy things I have to accomplish in the next few days. We all need a little “KARMA” in our lives. In days past, we were able to have all the PEEPS AND GRAND PEEPS join us in NEW ORLEANS for the weekend! We all know as families grow and the GRAND PEEPS grow, the demands on family time have to bend quite a bit. It makes me sad but I understand that we all have numerous family obligations. Try and hide if you can but this is “CRUNCH TIME”! I do not know how people wait until the week of Christmas to finish their shopping. I guess if I had to buy just a few gifts and not have to cook anything, I could manage that. I really like to finish up early so I can enjoy the festivities before the big day approaches.
This week the menus will hopefully give you some ideas of what to prepare for the holidays. I try to present easy, eye-appealing and tasty dishes. Hope you enjoy them!
