Today’s Gadget: Trudeau Kitchen and Grilling Glove
Good Morning Foodies! Today’s menu is another one that I like to prepare for special occasions like BIRTHDAYS, VALENTINE’S DAY, ETC. I know some of you will be familiar with the MARINATED CHEESE recipe. This has been around since the 80’s. Guests always comment on how pretty and appetizing it looks. YES, IT IS!!!
Today’s gadget from E’s Kitchen in Lafayette, LA is the TRUDEAU KITCHEN AND GRILLING GLOVE. This amazing glove is heat resistant for use in the oven or while grilling. The exterior is made of flame-resistant Aramid fibers along with silicone for extra grip control. It can withstand heat up to 482F/250C. The KITCHEN/GRILLING GLOVE has a wide opening and offers a good mix of heat protection vs. dexterity.
Trust me, I can attest to this kitchen gadget. One Christmas, I gave all the guys a set of these gloves. I almost believe they think they are invincible. HUBBY loves his. Great for lifting those crawfish pots, pig roasters, grill racks, etc. You name it and the men think they can walk on fire if they would put them on their feet. I am sure they have thought long and hard about that little trick! Great gift for anyone who loves to bake, grill etc.
I just wanted to give a heads up to those gifted people who create TV commercials, especially JEWELRY STORES! The only problem is that you are not reaching the market you are striving for. Case in point, a few days ago, HUBBY says, “HAVE YOU NOTICED HOW MANY JEWELRY COMMERCIALS ARE ON TV RIGHT NOW—WHAT IS THE DEAL WITH THAT?” So raise your hand, if you can see me ROLL MY EYES! I had to bring it to his attention that the ads were for the upcoming VALENTINE’S DAY! “I GUESS HE WON’T BE GOING TO JARED, BUT HE ALWAYS COME THROUGH!”
