Good Morning Foodies! Today’s repeat menu is one that I always like to prepare for the MARDI GRAS CELEBRATIONS! It is one of those menus you can prepare in advance, put out and go on about your partying! No holiday should keep you a prisoner in your own kitchen—always look for easy ideas or get help from others or even purchase items you need. There is no shame in getting outside help. You deserve to have fun just like everyone else.
Today’s gadget from E’s Kitchen is the “PREP-N-PEEL MULTI TOOL”! Did you know that the potato is the world’s fourth largest crop and is the leading vegetable crop in the U.S.? The potato can be cooked in any number of ways in all kinds of dishes. This new gadget can scrub, peel and slice any potato. The non-stick coated blade allows for smooth peeling, slicing and clean-up. The small paring knife easily removes the bad spots or eyes from the veggies. This tool is a great space saver with the paring knife tucked into the peeler’s handle. Just remember even though it is called the POTATO MULTI TOOL—it works on carrots and other veggies. A very versatile gadget!
