Good Morning Foodies! Recently, I have had numerous requests for bread pudding recipes. As we all know, there are so many versions of this wonderful dessert. Everyone has his way of preparing it. Some like it with raisins or nuts or just plain. I decided to give you two examples. The first is the recipe from Brennen’s of New Orleans. You will see in this recipe, they do not add raisins or nuts, but I give you the option to add. The second recipe is probably the best bread pudding I have ever had in my life. It comes from Opelousas native, Marty Cosgrove. Want to send congrats to Marty, for being this year’s king, for the Opelousas Bal Masque. It is nice to see it go to someone, who keeps his hometown, close to his heart and have to give heads up to his beautiful queen, Ashley Kelly. I remember her in diapers. Won’t be long before, she remembers me in diapers!! Ugh!! Anyway, give his recipe a try. Don’t look at the calorie count! This is just a once in a while dessert. I promise you that it will be the best you ever had. Enjoy! Have a great day!
