RECAP OF NAPA!
Good Morning Foodies!
For all you WINE LOVERS out there, if you have not been to NAPA OR WINE COUNTRY—put it on your BUCKET LIST! These people really know how to just sit back, relax, take in the view, take time to visit, with no hurried meals. We should all take a page out of their book of life!
It is almost like just the act of pouring a glass of wine calms the mind!
Sitting around with friends and listening to conversations all around you, can sometimes be the best part of the day! You know after a few “TODDIES”, crazy words can escape the mouth!
Story 1: “I pledge to drink a bottle of wine daily to raise awareness for future “EARTHQUAKES” that may affect the NAPA WINE COUNTRY!”
Story 2: “A thief broke into my house last night…..He started searching for BOOZE AND MONEY, so I woke up and helped him search!”
The BEST STORY YET:
Story 3: “A POLICEMAN pulled me over and said, “YOU DRINKING?” I said, “YES, YOU BUYING?” We all laughed and laughed! Yes, I needed BAIL MONEY!”
Traveling across cities, states, countries can be such a great experience. Every culture brings something to the table!
Here in SOUTH LOUISIANA, we call our GODPARENTS-NANNY AND PARAN; We pin MONEY on the BRIDE’S DRESS and GROOM’S TUX; We POCK EGGS on EASTER SUNDAY; We put the A/C on for CHRISTMAS; We stay at a FUNERAL HOME all night with a loved one that has passed away; and We call our parents, MAMA and DADDY!
We all may have cultural differences that some people admire or may look down upon but that is who we are—SO BE PROUD OF WHO YOU ARE AND WHERE YOU CAME FROM!
CHEERS TO EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING!
Have a safe and productive weekend!
