This past weekend was quite an experience for me. First, we were surprised with the visit of some of the GRAND PEEPS, along with some of their friends. What a nice and fun-filled weekend! Then on Sunday, we celebrated “UNCLE JOHNNY’S 90th BIRTHDAY”! As I reflect on these two varied events, there is one common denominator—YOU CAN ALWAYS LEARN SOMETHING FROM EVERYONE, NO MATTER WHAT THE AGE! All weekend, I took note that everyone was basically “HANDS FREE OF ELECTRONICS” and just enjoying conversations, visiting or just catching up! Really nice to see people interacting! There were many laughs. I absolutely enjoy when those electronics are absent from the scene. We should realize that sometimes all a person needs is a hand to hold and a heart to understand! Always, always, always, remember that it is those SMALL DAILY HAPPENINGS that make LIFE SO SPECTACULAR!

I hope you all get to do something exciting this coming weekend. Last holiday closing out the summer, LABOR DAY! Just remember not appropriate to wear white after LABOR DAY but you can drink WHITE WINE!

LSU is opening their season playing at LAMBEAU FIELD against WISCONSIN. I know several people traveling to this game. I think I would have gone to this game just to see the field. I have always been a fan of the GREEN BAY PACKERS, especially Brett Farve! Should be an exciting night! I hope your favorite team is also in action. Nothing better than COLLEGE FOOTBALL!

HUBBY and I have been invited on another boat trip. We will be doing THE NEW ENGLAND COAST from NYC to BOSTON. So if you want, come along and follow our adventure.

Will be in NEW ORLEANS, shortly thereafter, to watch our son, CRAIG, turn over his gavel to the next president of the LOUISIANA ASSOCIATION FOR JUSTICE! HUBBY and I are so proud of all that he has accomplished in his year as president. JOB WELL DONE!

As you can see, I will be out of pocket for a while. Will be back posting, Tuesday, September 13th.
