Todays Gadget: Lettuce Knife
Today’s Gadget from E’S KITCHEN in LAFAYETTE, LA is a LETTUCE KNIFE! In case you did not know, a metal bladed knife will cause your lettuce to turn brown more quickly. This PLASTIC BLADED KNIFE is a quick and effective solution.
The serrated plastic knife will not damage lettuce leaves. The wide blade designed for scooping up cut leaves. The soft touch handle gives a comfortable and secure grip. There is a hole in the handle so that the knife can be stored on a hook. It can be hand washed or cleaned in a dishwasher. Now who would of “THUNK” up some an ingenious gadget!
Today I will supply you with a “KITCHEN TIP”: An easy way to peel garlic! Separate the cloves by firmly pressing and rocking against the countertop. Place the individual cloves in a bowl of cold water for 20 minutes. Remove from the water and the papery skin peels right off! BAM!
This is a great menu if you have any leftovers from that great EASTER MEAL! It is one of my favorites to prepare at this time of year!
