CRAZY BUT FUN!

Good Morning Foodies!

Well, let the COUNTDOWN BEGIN! In a blink you will find yourself in the middle of FEBRUARY! You know that saying that comes around during the MARDI GRAS FESTIVITES—“We don’t hide CRAZY. We put a MASK on it, DRAPE in BEADS and PARADE it down the streets for MARDI GRAS!” Yep!

I must say I do miss the days of old when I was growing up. MARDI GRAS was the ultimate holiday for kids. I grew up outside of NEW ORLEANS and my parents belonged to this club that had only DEAF MEMEBERS. We were about 2-3 blocks off CANAL STREET. It was so safe that all the kids would just walk down to CANAL and watch the parades, catch some beads and other trinkets. Then we would trot on back to where our parents were. Now that is a safe world!

I try to remember no matter how weird, scary or unpredictable the world becomes, we have to have some faith in humanity. You know in life, you only get three choices in life: GIVE UP, GIVE IN OR GIVE IT ALL YOU GOT! We must figure out how to live and make a difference in the world!
