TRIP SUMMARY!

Good Morning Foodies!

Today just going to give you a small recap of our trip to SWITZERLAND and LAKE COMO, ITALY. Trust me what you see on TV about air travel is completely true. They are so short-handed in all staffing issues. We had one flight cancelled and missed two other flights because there were no personal to fulfill the duties for planes to take off. VERY SCARY! We were home 5 days before we got our luggage back.

SWITZERLAND was not cold or cool. The daily temp was 92-98 degrees and they won’t let you regulate your room temp. So, a little misery there.
SWITZERLAND is very beautiful and clean. In the 7 days there, I never saw one piece of litter anywhere. Wonder how they achieve that! Their transit system is top notch. There were so many things in SWITZERLAND that made the USA look like the third world. Not sure how they achieve such beauty, efficiency and on point in everything. Must say not too excited about the food. Also did not have one good cup of coffee while there. NOW THEIR CHOCOLATE IS SUPERB!

LAKE COMO was stunning. Of course, I am very partial to anything ITALIAN! The temp here was nicer due to being on the water. We had 2 days of rain which I enjoyed because I haven’t seen rain in so long.

Our flight home was not too good. Missed our flight connection and had to spend night in LONDON. Didn’t get to see to much of the place. We were brought to a hotel on airport grounds. Tried to make the best of it.

Was very glad to be home! TRUST ME, TRAVEL RIGHT NOW IS VERY COMPLICATED! If you can avoid flying BRITISH AIRWAYS—STAY AWAY FROM THEM! They caused most of our flight problems.

Even though it is still hot here, very glad to be back home and have some of the best food and beverages around!
Bottom line here for me is “IN A WORLD WHERE YOU CAN BE ANYTHING, ALWAYS BE KIND!”
