Good Morning Foodies! I know as kids we always use to count down the days/weeks of LENT. I am hoping as an adult, I think of it as how many more days can I try to be a better person and more helpful to others. Trying to stay away from the negative side of it. After “40” days, I should be a kinder, happier, a more forgiving human being. It is okay to lean on that “GUARDIAN ANGEL” a little more during this time of cleansing!

Yesterday, was a wonderful day for GRAND PEEP, TYLER. Her parents had the most fabulous dinner for her birthday gathering. I am always happy that I can share in these wonderful celebrations. With that said, this coming Friday is GRAND PEEP, SAVANNAH’S BRITHDAY! Another wonderful day to celebrate friends and family.

Today’s menu is another wonderful soup that incorporates seafood and a nice veggie. I always find that during LENT, soups, stews, gumbos, etc. are an easy meal to prepare. Just add a nice salad, sandwich or bread and you have created a very filling and delicious meal.
