GOBBLE IT UP!

Good Morning Foodies!

One week from today is that day you get to “GOBBLE UNTIL YOU WOBBLE”! Love those holidays!

Every year HUBBY and I host THANKSGIVING for our families. This year our group will not be as large because I find as the younger generations grow, they have to split their times with extended families. Makes me a little sad! I love the large groups but am very understanding of this. It is so important to stay grounded with HOME, FAMILY AND FRIENDS! Of course, the PANDEMIC also determines the size of those holiday gatherings! UGH!

HOME is where we GROW, where we LEARN the TRADITIONS that SHAPE US!

I love gathering in the KITCHEN! I always try to remember the KITCHEN RULES: Be GRATEFUL; just ROLL with it; SEASON everything with LOVE; Add a SPOONFUL of SUGAR to make LIFE SWEETER!

The bottom line here, “TIME SPENT WITH FAMILY IS WORTH EVERY MINUTE!” Try your best to COME GATHER AROUND THE TABLE!
I hope all you FOODIES have a bountiful THANKSGIVING which includes lovely memories along with full bellies!

Before closing, I must say with a sadden heart, that my WALKING LADIES GROUP, will not be hosting the big unveiling of the NATIVITY at the COURTHOUSE SQUARE! Another thing that the PANDEMIC has crippled. The NATIVITY will be open, music on, trees lit, but there will be no large gatherings which usually happens on the SATURDAY after THANKSGIVING, NOVEMBER 28TH. If you get a chance, go and visit the NATIVITY, enjoy the HOLIDAY MUSIC, take your PICTURES in the CHRISTMAS SETTINGS around the COURTHOUSE. Don’t let the PANDEMIC steal your SPIRITUALITY!

KITCHEN WILL BE CLOSED ALL NEXT WEEK AND THROUGH MONDAY, NOVEMBER 30TH AND WILL REOPEN ON TUESDAY, DECEMBER 1ST! You know the drill, I will post most of my doings and going-ons in the kitchen. Just drop in and check every so often, to see what mischief I am up to!

In closing, be mindful of the following, “The TREES are about to show us how BEAUTIFUL it is to let THINGS GEAUX!”

Have a safe and most wonderful THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY!
