Hot water and milk as called for on Hamburger Helper Box
2 c. frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
1 box of Mashed Potato (dried box type)-enough for 6 servings
Salt, red/black pepper, garlic powder
½ c. shredded cheddar cheese
Chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
In a large skillet, cook beef, stirring frequently until brown. Crumble it up, and season to taste. Drain.
Place meat back into skillet.
Stir in hot water, milk, sauce mix and uncooked pasta from the Hamburger Helper box, and thawed veggies. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally. Taste for seasoning.
Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until pasta and veggies are tender. Remove from heat.
Meanwhile, cook the mashed potatoes following box directions (make for 6 servings.)
Spoon and gently spread mashed potatoes over pasta mixture.
Sprinkle with cheese. Cover and let stand 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Sprinkle with cheese.
