Easy Cheddar Cheese Biscuits

Ingredients
  • 2 c. Bisquick baking mix
  • ½ c. cold water
  • 1 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • ¼ c. butter
  • 2 t. dried chives
  • ½ t. garlic powder
  • ½ t. Italian seasoning
  • ½ t. red pepper
Instructions
  1. Heat oven 450.
  2. In a bowl, combine baking mix, water and cheese. Mix well.
  3. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface, until 1” thick.
  4. With a biscuit cutter or inverted drinking glass, cut biscuits and place on an ungreased baking sheet.
  5. Melt butter and add the spices. Mix well.
  6. Brush the top of biscuits with the butter and bake 8-10 minutes.
Notes
*****If you prefer, you can add all the spices to the dough and just brush top with butter. You can change up the cheeses and spices.
