1 large head of fresh broccoli, cut the florets off main stem, wash and drain well
3 T. minced garlic
Olive oil
Kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder
Red pepper flakes
Instructions
Take the broccoli florets (very important that they are dry and not moist from washing them—they will not crisp up if wet) and place in plastic baggie or bowl.
In the bowl, add the minced garlic, salt, pepper, garlic powder.
Drizzle with olive oil. Make sure you have enough to cover all the florets.
Sprinkle the amount of red pepper flakes you like.
Shake the baggie or mix in the bowl.
On a baking sheet, lined with foil and sprayed with PAM, spread the florets over the bottom.
Bake in preheated 375 oven for 20-30 minutes, depending on your oven. They should crisp up.
Remove from oven and add seasoning if necessary.
Notes
*****Makes a great snack. Dip in fat-free dressing or hummus or eat plain.
