Melt in Your Mouth Short Ribs
- 3-4 lbs. serving sized beef short ribs, seasoned
- 3 T. packed light brown sugar
- 2 T. minced garlic
- 2 t. dried thyme leaves, crushed
- ¼ c. flour
- 1 (10 ¾-oz.) can condensed French Onion Soup
- 1 (12-oz.) dark ale or beer
- Fresh chopped parsley, garnish
- Hot mashed potatoes or egg noodles
- Place the seasoned beef ribs into 5 qt. crock pot.
- Mix the sugar, garlic, thyme and flour and rub all over the ribs.
- Mix the soup and beer and pour over the meat.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 8-9 hours or on HIGH for 4-5 hours or until beef is fork tender.
- Garnish with parsley and serve with potatoes or egg noodles.
