Quick and Easy Bacon and Cheddar Dip

Ingredients
  • 1 (8-oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (8-oz.) sour cream
  • 6 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 6 Roma tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 large green bell pepper, chopped
  • 2-3 fresh jalapenos, seeded and diced
  • 1 (16-oz.) jar good quality taco sauce or salsa
  • 2 c. shredded Mexican blend cheese or sharp cheddar
  • 1 lb. sliced bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • Tortilla chips or crackers
Instructions
  1. In bowl, beat cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
  2. Spread in ungreased 13x9” dish.
  3. Combine onions, tomatoes and peppers.
  4. Sprinkle over cream cheese layer.
  5. Pour taco or salsa sauce over the veggies.
  6. Sprinkle with cheese.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  8. Before serving, sprinkle with bacon.
