Divine German Chocolate Dump Cake

Ingredients
  • 1 c. flaked coconut
  • 2 c. chopped toasted pecans, divided
  • 1 pkg. devil’s food cake mix
  • 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • ½ c. butter, melted
  • 1 T. vanilla
  • 2 c. powdered sugar
  • ½ c. semisweet chocolate chips
  • Cool Whip or Ice Cream
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven 350.
  2. Grease 13x9” baking pan.
  3. Sprinkle coconut and 1 c. pecans into baking pan.
  4. Prepare cake mix following pkg. instructions.
  5. Pour batter into prepared pan over pecan mixture.
  6. In large bowl, beat cream cheese, butter and vanilla until smooth.
  7. Beat in powdered sugar.
  8. Stir in chips and rest of pecans.
  9. Spoon over batter.
  10. Cut through batter with knife to swirl.
  11. Bake 35-40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  12. Cool completely in pan. Cut in squares to serve. Optional to add Cool Whip or Ice Cream.
