With a veggie peeler, shave off long strips of the squash, rotating the squash in your hand as you work around the seed-filled center. (Discard seeded part)
Arrange the strips on a large platter, overlapping them slightly.
Drizzle with lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper to taste.
With the veggie peeler, shave the cheese over the squash.
Top with the drained capers.
Serve.
