Creepy Spider Cookies
- 1 pouch Betty Crocker peanut butter cookie mix
- 3 T. oil
- 1 T. water
- 1 egg
- 36 round chewy caramels in milk chocolate
- Black and red string licorice
- 1 tube black decorating gel
- 72 miniature candy-coated milk chocolate candies
- Heat oven 375.
- In bowl, stir cookie mix, oil, water and egg until dough forms.
- Shape dough into 36 (1”) balls.
- On ungreased cookie sheet, place balls 2” apart.
- Bake until light golden brown. Immediately press 1 chewy caramel in center of each cookie.
- Cool for 2 minutes and move cookies to wire racks.
- Cut licorice into 8 (2”) pieces for each spider. Attach legs into chewy caramels.
- Using the gel, attach the candies for eyes and make pupils of eyes.
- Store in single layer in airtight container.
