Unique Brussels Sprout Hash

Ingredients
  • 1 c. fresh or frozen pearl onions (if frozen, thaw them)
  • 2 T. butter
  • 3 T. extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 T. honey, plus extra to drizzle
  • 1 ½ lbs. thinly sliced Brussels sprouts.
  • Kosher salt, fresh black pepper
  • ¼-1/2 c. chicken broth or white wine
Instructions
  1. Heat butter, olive oil and honey in a skillet.
  2. Add the onions and cook until golden and glazed.
  3. Add the Brussels sprouts. Mix well.
  4. Season to taste and cook until crispy-tender.
  5. Add a little broth or wine to loosen up the mixture.
  6. Heat through and drizzle with honey before serving.
