Lemony Alfredo Tuna Noodle Dish in a Skillet
- 6 c. dried extra-wide egg noodles
- 1 lemon
- 1 (15-oz.) roasted garlic Alfredo pasta sauce or 1 (10-oz.) container refrigerated Alfredo pasta sauce
- ΒΌ c. capers, drained
- 1 (12-oz.) can solid white tuna, drained
- Black pepper, salt
- Chopped fresh chives
- Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain. Return pasta to pot, cover and keep warm.
- Squeeze juice of the lemon in a bowl and also use the lemon zest.
- In large skillet, combine the pasta sauce, capers, and lemon juice.
- Heat.
- Gently stir in cooked noodles and tuna.
- Heat and sprinkle in zest, season to taste and sprinkle with fresh chives.
