Spicy Cranberry Cocktail

Ingredients
  • 1 orange wedge
  • 13 fresh cranberries, or more
  • 3 (1” pieces of crystallized ginger (2 minced and 1 whole for garnish)
  • 2 oz. Aperol
  • 1 oz. Lillet Blanc
  • Ice
  • 4 oz. hard cider
  • 4 dashes Cranberry-Anise Bitters or Peychaud’s bitters
Instructions
  1. In cocktail shaker, muddle the orange wedge with 10 of the cranberries and minced ginger.
  2. Add the Aperol, Lillet Blanc, bitters and ice.
  3. Shake well.
  4. Double strain the drink into ice-filled Collins glass and top off with hard cider.
  5. Garnish with remaining cranberries and slice of ginger skewered on a toothpick.
Notes
*****Aperol is an Italian aperitif and Lillet Blanc is a French aperitif. Hard cider is bottled like beer but is non-alcoholic.
