Satsuma Glazed Ham

Ingredients
  • 1 (10-lb.) bone-in spiral cut ham
  • 1 c. good quality honey
  • 3 T. Satsuma zest
  • 1 c. Satsuma juice
  • ¼ c. firmly packed dark brown sugar
  • ¼ c. butter
  • 1 t. salt
  • 1 t. Tabasco
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven 325. In roasting pan, lined with foil, place ham cut side down. Cover with foil and bake 2 hours.
  2. In saucepan, combine honey, Satsuma zest and juice, sugar, butter, salt and Tabasco.
  3. Bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer and cook until thickened, about 15-20 minutes.
  4. Uncover ham and brush with sauce. Bake 30 minutes more, brushing with glaze every 10 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven and let rest 10 minutes. Serve.
