Spicy Jalapeño Mango Mojito
- 1 ½ T. simple sugar*(you can buy it or make it)
- 10-12 fresh mint leaves, plus more for garnish
- 4 lime wedges
- 2-3 jalapeno, with seeds, plus more for garnish
- 2 c. ice
- 1 ½ oz. dark rum
- 1 oz. mango nectar
- 2 oz. of sparkling water
- Combine the mint, lime wedges, jalapeno and simple syrup in cocktail shaker and muddle.
- Fill shaker with ice, pour in rum and mango nectar and shake briefly.
- Pour directly into highball glass.
- Top off with sparkling water and stir briefly.
- Garnish with fresh mint and jalapeno slice.
*****If you don’t want it too spicy, remove seeds from jalapenos.
