Bacon Candy
- ½ c. packed light brown sugar
- 2 t. chile powder
- 20 slices thick-cut bacon
- Preheat oven 400.
- Line a 2 rimmed baking sheets with foil.
- In bowl, whisk sugar and chile powder.
- Arrange bacon on foil and coat the tops with chile sugar.
- Bake 20-25 minutes, until caramelized and almost crisp.
- Transfer bacon to a rack set over a sheet of foil to cool completely. Serve.
*****Can be made day ahead and stored at room temperature. Great to serve with Bloody Marys!
