KITCHEN TIP TODAY—Many of you enjoyed the heating of dried beans to help keep your hot bread warmer, longer, so I thought you might enjoy another heating tip. Have you ever had to make a huge batch of PANCAKES and try to keep them warm? Rather than heating up the oven to keep those precious cakes warm, use your microwave!
Simply place a medium-sized bowl, filled three quarters-full with water. Heat the water to boiling.
Then place a large plate over the bowl and close the door. As you make the pancakes place them on the plate in the microwave. The steam from the bowl keeps the pancakes warm and moist until you are ready to serve them up!
