Ingredients
  • ½ (17.5-oz.) pkg. frozen puff pastry, thawed (1 sheet)
  • 1 (8-oz.) wheel of brie
  • ¼ c. fig jam
  • ¼ c. dried cranberries
  • 1 t. finely chopped fresh rosemary
  • ¼ c. roasted chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 1 large egg
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven 425.
  2. Lined a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Open pastry sheet and lay flat on lightly floured surface.
  4. Place brie in center of dough.
  5. Spread jam on top of Brie, then sprinkle with cranberries, rosemary and nuts.
  6. Fold dough up and over to enclose cheese and filling, pleating dough to fit.
  7. Trim any excess pastry and press seams to seal.
  8. Transfer to baking sheet.
  9. Whisk egg with 1 t. water and brush outside of pastry with egg wash.
  10. Press a few pecan halves into top of dough to decorate.
  11. Bake until golden, about 15-20 minutes.
  12. Let cool slightly.
  13. Serve with crackers, fresh figs and grapes.
Notes
*****Freezes well unbaked or baked.
