Ingredients
  • 1 bag of frozen field peas with snaps
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 T. minced garlic
  • 2 T. olive oil
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Salt, red/black pepper
Instructions
  1. Place peas into pot and cover with about 2 inches of water.
  2. Add rest of ingredients.
  3. Cook over medium heat until peas are tender. Taste for seasoning.
  4. Add more water if peas are not done and water cooks down too low.
Notes
*****Mix leftover peas with brown or yellow rice and serve as side dish for grilled fish or chicken
