Sweet Praline Topped Pumpkin Dessert

Ingredients
  • 1 (15-oz.) can pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix)
  • 1 (12-oz.) can evaporated milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 T. pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 box yellow or spice cake mix
  • 2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
  • ¾ c. melted butter
  • Whipped cream
  • Extra pumpkin pie spice
Instructions
  1. Heat oven 350. Spray bottom and sides of 13x9” baking pan.
  2. In bowl, beat pumpkin, milk, eggs, sugar and spice with wire whisk until smooth.
  3. Pour into pan.
  4. Sprinkle dry cake mix over the mixture.
  5. Sprinkle with nuts.
  6. Pour melted butter evenly over top.
  7. Bake 50-60 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool slightly.
  8. Cut dessert into rows.
  9. Serve warm with a dollop of whipped cream and sprinkle with additional pumpkin spice.
  10. Store in refrigerator.
