Crock- Pot Hickory Smoked BBQ Ribs
- 1 (3 lb.) rack of pork ribs
- 1 T. seasoned salt
- 1 t. garlic powder
- 1 T. black pepper
- 1 T. red pepper
- ½ c. brown sugar
- 1 t. smoked paprika
- ½ c. your favorite BBQ Sauce
- Cut a rack of pork ribs in half and place halves side by side in a 6 qt. slow cooker.
- Mix the seasonings in a bowl and then spread the rub all over the ribs, both sides.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours. DO NOT REMOVE LID DURING COOKING.
- Next baste ribs with your favorite BBQ SAUCE.
- If desired, put ribs in an oven-safe dish and place under broiler for a few minutes to brown and caramelize the sauce.
