Ingredients
  • 3 c. rotisserie chicken, shredded
  • ⅓-1/2 c. homemade or store bought marinara sauce
  • 6-8 mozzarella slices
  • ¼ c. chopped basil
  • ½ c. melted butter
  • 3 T. minced garlic
  • 2 T. chopped basil
  • 3 T. grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 package (12-roll) bread*
Instructions
  1. Slice the 12 roll bread in half so that you have a top and bottom.
  2. Place the bottom half on a baking sheet.
  3. Mix together the chicken and marinara sauce.
  4. Spoon this mixture over the bread.
  5. Lay the mozzarella slices across the chicken.
  6. Sprinkle with ¼ c. basil.
  7. Place the top layer of bread on top.
  8. In a bowl, mix together the garlic, basil, parmesan cheese and the melted butter.
  9. Spoon this mixture over the top layer of bread.
  10. Bake in 350 oven for 20 minutes.
  11. Cut into 12 sliders.
Notes
*****I used The Original King’s Hawaiian Sweet Jalapeno Rolls. These rolls are a little smaller in size. You might have to adjust the ingredients that you layer. I found if you chop the chicken and add too much sauce, the sliders will become mushy. Shredded chicken holds up more. Gradually add the sauce. The first time, I added too much sauce and that also added to it being mushy. Add just enough sauce to add flavor.
