  • 1 lb. pork or turkey sausage
  • 10 slices whole wheat bread, cubed
  • 2 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 c. whole milk
  • 1 t. dry mustard
  • 1 t. Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt, black pepper
  • Paprika

  1. Cook sausage in skillet, stirring until it crumbles and no longer pink. Season with salt and black pepper.
  2. Drain on paper towels.
  3. Spray a 13×9” baking dish with PAM.
  4. Place the sausage on the bottom of baking dish.
  5. Top with bread cubes and then cheese.
  6. Whisk together the eggs, milk, dry mustard, Worcestershire and add salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Pour mixture over the sausage/bread/cheese.
  8. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.
  9. Let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes before baking.
  10. Cover with foil and bake at 375 for 40-45 minutes.
  11. Remove foil and cook another 10 minutes until casserole is set.
