Good Morning Foodies!
If you follow me pretty religiously, you know I try to help plan those menus that are easy, fun and most appealing to the eye! I think I have sort of fulfilled that role.
Today, I am here to help you get through the monumental fear of SUMMER VACATIONS—PUTTING ON THAT MIRACLE SWIMSUIT MADE BY NASA and SUNBATHING AT THE BEACH OR POOL!!!!!!!!!!
I have come up with a list that I post and read to myself before venturing out to those board walks, where everyone grades you from a “1 to 10”! The slogans always make me smile and that is what life is all about—KEEP SMILING! ARE YOU READY!!!!!!!!
1-I try to avoid anything that makes me look fat-“SCALES, MIRRORS AND PHOTOGRAPHS”!
2-Try to remember: DRUNK PEOPLE, CHILDREN AND LEGGINGS, always tell the TRUTH!
3-I have been hiding from EXERCISE, because I am in the FITNESS PROTECTION PROGRAM!
4-Want a YOGA CLASS, oops, I said yes, ‘cause I thought they said “POUR ANOTHER GLASS!”
5-Some days, I eat salads and go to the gym; Somedays, I eat cupcakes and refuse to put on jeans. THIS IS CALLED A BALANCED DIET!
6-I do YOGA to relieve STRESS. Just kidding, I drink WINE IN MY YOGA PANTS!
7-RUNNING LATE-does count as CARDIO!
8-Easiest way to burn 600 CALORIES—BURN DINNER!
9-Into LINE DANCING for exercise—merely, stand in a long line for the WOMEN’S RESTROOM!
10-My FASHION STYLE—-THE CLOTHES THAT FIT THAT DAY!
See life can be easy! Don’t stress about the crazy silly things! Some days, people say to me, “FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS”—so I go back to bed!
Bottom line here: Be like a PINEAPPLE—STAND TALL, WEAR A CROWN, and ALWAYS STAY SWEET ON THE INSIDE!
Since the FOURTH OF JULY falls on a TUESDAY, I will not post next week (from July 3-7th). Will be back posting on TUESDAY, JULY 11TH.
