Ingredients
  • 1 box of your favorite cake mix
  • 1-2 cans chocolate icing
  • Kit-Kat candy bars
  • Easter Colored M&M’s
  • Ribbon

Instructions
  1. Prepare cake mix following directions on box. Make 2 layers.
  2. Let cake cool.
  3. Place one layer of cake on serving platter that is wider than cake.
  4. Ice the face up layer of cake with icing. If you want to add chopped pecans or coconuts to this layer, just sprinkle after you put icing.
  5. Place second layer on top.
  6. Ice sides and top of cake with chocolate icing.
  7. Press the Kit-Kat bars around the cake. They will adhere to icing. Be sure to do this before icing sets.
  8. Sprinkle the M&M’s on top.
  9. Tie a pretty ribbon around the cake.

Notes
*****You can change up the cake mix, icings and decorations to fix various holidays and events. My niece, Alicia Laporte, made this cake for Easter last year. A grand hit!
