Quick and Easy Brownie Bourbon Balls

Ingredients
  • ⅓ c. applesauce
  • ¼ c. egg substitute
  • 1 T. water
  • 1 (16.7-oz.) pkg. double fudge brownie mix
  • Pam
  • 3 T. bourbon
  • ⅓ c. finely chopped toasted walnuts

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven 350.
  2. Combine applesauce, egg, water and brownie mix (including fudge packet in mix).
  3. Stir well to blend.
  4. Spread in 8” square baking pan sprayed with PAM.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes or until wooden toothpick inserted near edge of pan comes out clean.
  6. Cool in pan.
  7. Crumble brownies and place in food processor.
  8. Add bourbon and process until mixture forms a ball.
  9. Shape brownie into 24 balls (about 1 ½ T. each).
  10. Place chopped nuts in shallow bowl and roll balls in nuts, pressing gently to coat.
  11. Store balls in airtight container at room temp for 3 days or freeze.
